One (Liter) is the Loniest Number

I write to you this night with a problem that is increasingly growing more frustrating and hectic as I speak. No, it's not the incomplete final in Post Production class. It's finding any remaining 1-liter bottles in Armstrong County.

To give you some backstory Coke has one of those 1 in 6 Wins Free Coke promotions going on with the green caps. Since the campus sells coke and does not take the winning caps, that leaves me stuck with about 4-liters of pop in free caps waiting to be claimed. Instead of awarding the common 20 oz bottles, Coke in their infinite lack of wisdom decides to plunk you with a free 1-liter bottle. Worse yet, you can't cash up 2 of them to make a 2-liter bottle.

Do you have any idea how difficult it is to find a 1-liter bottle of anything?

So far in the Kittanning area a grocery store sells them but I got the last one, drug store and gas station sell 1-liter Pepsi's, and anywhere else remotely I've tried it cannot be found. This afternoon's excersion, following a lengthy parallel parking test, I drove all around trying to find the lost middle child of the Coke distribution volume family. Exhausted, I gave up and bought a 20 ouncer of Coke. The cashier shares my pain, she doesn't know where to cash them.

And poetic justice knocks at the door. I win ANOTHER free 1-liter of friggin coke.

For anyone living in the Kittanning area, if the store you work at or if you know a place that sells 1-liter bottles of Coca-Cola products (excluding Dasani), please e-mail me at tm2productions@hotmail.com or AIM at Garycanranna moy pronto.
